For u hog fans that want him gone here's shot y'all are looking at.
I'd say we've got him thru 2020
I just get tickled looking back at his preseason intervals how he is talking them up. Man no telling what he would say if he really had a team.
After that performance I kinda wonder if he's hoping for the but out. May be ready for a change of scenery.
Pretty comical to say the least. Funny how as a razorback fan you learn to see through the BS and not get your hopes up.
I say we've got him through at least January 1, 2019 and probably 2020 like was said above.
Can you imagine the players? Coach b talking them up then on game day getting your teeth kicked in.
That looks like a contract that Obama would have written.
Wonder who agreed to this one-sided deal? Who could it be????? Maybe something should be done to make certain nothing like that happens again.... Hmmm........
Unfortunately it looks like we're stuck with this employee for quite some time to come.
Jeff Long doesn't have a buy out. Start there
And there is your answer ^^^^
Those buyouts should come with winning percentage stipulations.
And it looks like his agent was a hell of a lot better negotiator than ours. $15MM vs $4MM? $4MM vs $250M?
Maybe we should hire his agent to negotiate for the university. I really can't believe anyone could be that asleep at the wheel. Were they really that certain he was going to be a resounding success?
The only thing that will trigger some tye of action will be when there are fewer and fewer butts in the seats at DWRRS. Apathy has a way of making things happen.
Jerry jones could cut that check in a minute so he ain't safe with the buy out.
I haven't read the fine print. But isn't it logical that there be a performance clause in the contract? Surely the legal department at the U of A left themselves an out to get rid of a coach who is 10-22 in SEC LEAGUE play as of today?
Don't bet on it.
No there is not. No way.
Nope. There probably is something in there about getting fired for personal conduct, similar to what got Petrino and Freeze fired, but nothing about on the field performance.
