Has anyone been to Africa to bow hunt? If so do you have any recommendations on a good outfitter? My son and I want to go and when you start looking there must be hundreds to choose from!:smack: A 7 to 10 day trip would be good, not much longer than that.

I have been down there on a rifle hunt. The outfitter we used is not booking hunts any longer.

I've booked a hunt for 2009 with Bowhunting Safari Consultants. Since I haven't been yet, I can't personnaly speak for these folks. However, I'm going with a friend that has used this outfitter several times. That should mean something.

I have talked to several outfitters and I just can't decide! I will look into the Bowhunting Safari Consultants. Best price so far for a father and son is $4900 which will get us 4 animals.

If you want to go in 2009, you'd better get on it. You may already be too late to book a 2009 hunt. I booked my 2009 hunt last summer.
