Son and I caught a decent mess of crappie, cat, and bass on yoyo's tonight

Ended up with 33 crappie and a few bass and catfish. Let go several bass that were still in good shape. Several of the crappie scratched the two pound mark.

We were fishing three or four inches deep in 4 to 8 feet of water. We did not catch any in water over 8 ft and very few in water less than 3 ft. In transition right now. Caught more males than females.

Awesome! Makes me want to hang some yo-yo's and try for some crappie as well. Never had very much luck with them but hope I can change that this year. Hunting seasons are over but I have not transitioned into fishing yet. Those pics will definitely make it easier to get out of the house and try.
