Anyone seen or heard of this buck yet?

Near Augusta is all I have heard so far. Looks like AR tag on him.

It's a good deer but that feller is long arming the crap out of it.

That's a monster. I don't know why he's long arming it like that.

Exactly what I thought when I first saw the pic. Great deer nonetheless.

super mass, but the long arming really only makes the guy look stupid IMO

    4x5 or 4x6 maybe?

I'd guess it in the mid-140" range

I didn't see the deer personally, but it was killed near Augusta. I showed up about 6 hours after this deer was killed. The antlers were already gone. I was told the deer scored in the 160's. And before you correct me Stealty, I didn't measure it, that's what I was told.

No need to long arm a deer like that....or any deer for that matter.

    Great buck, nonetheless.

That buck was shot in Kansas with a bow. I saw it the day the fellow got back with it. And it's more impressive in person.

You sure? I stood in front of that same skinning rack just a few weeks ago. Not a lot of cypress tress and oxbows in Kansas like the ones in the background of that pic.

I'm not 100% certain. I have been wrong before.... just don't tell my wife that.

Did mossyhorns really just ask how long arming makes it look bigger? Haha figure that one out on you own there mossy. A little time and effort and you should have your answer shortly

Perspective. Using a wide angle lens creates more separation between foreground and background. The closer to the lens an object is the bigger it will appear. The background then seems further away.
With a telephoto lens the foreground and background are compressed with objects appearing closer together. Consequently objects will appear normal size.
