Pearson made some very fine bows, now considered vintage but still
very serviceable and if it looks good and has no limb twist when strung
    I'd go for it.

The only complaint I have on old Pearsons was their choice of glass color...
I have a very nice one with a Zebrawood riser that looks allot like the Bear
Super Kodiacs but the back side glass is a funky off green color and the belly
glass is a dull milk chocolate brown...great shooting bow just not very pretty
    IMHO...

That was my first bow. 50lbs of whitetail kill'n power. Loved mine. Took my first archery deer with it.

I still shoot Pearson (BPH 52). I used the same Pearson hunter for 15 seasons until I fell crossing a creek and broke it last year. :frown:

I bought a Ben Pearson Cougar in 1965 and still have it. It is excellent condition and I plan to give it to my #1 grandson as soon as he is old enough to shoot it and appreciate it. It is an outstanding bow @ 50 Lbs., 28 inch draw. :thumb:

That's exactly what mine is. Is it worth very much? I want to give it a new paint job it needs it but would that hurt the value or anything if its worth any money?

Why paint it? I bought a Bear Kodiak Hunter somebody had painted flat black, cleaned it up and there was a beautiful bow under there.

I had a Pearson Cougar at one time and quiet honestly, it wasn't very pretty  even though it was in good shape but it shot pretty dang good. :thumb:
