Just wondering how many of you bear hunt arkansas. I would like to start
but dont know which national forrest would be best ozark, buffalo or sylamore. so this summer i plan to do some scouting maybe some trail camera
sets. any opinions or thought would be greatly appreciated.

Bear hunting on public land is a pretty tough proposition because it is against the law to use any kind of bait.

Your best bet is to find some private land where bear bait is legal and see if you get one to work the bait. A trail cam can be used to determine if your location is attracting a hunt-able bear.

Keeping the site baited is a lot of work and can get expensive
