  2. Always a good idea Mr C. Tularemia is the most common disease I see acquired from cleaning game.

Never have...prolly never will! In fact, once I stabbed myself in the thigh while quartering a big doe in a thicket...almost got my own femoral artery...drove myself to the emergency room on a motorcycle 30 miles. Doctor on call didn't believe me...thought I had been in a biker knife fight!:skeptical::fit::razz:

I always keep a couple of pair of latex gloves in my hunting pack, I've always been told if it's wet sticky, and not yours don't touch it barehanded:up:

I've been carrying the latex gloves for a while now. Mostly just because it makes it easier to clean my hands when I'm done though. Don't have to walk down to a pond or the creek.

There is some of us that have thickets within bow range of our backdoor. I used to have a good one that I killed a couple deer in (actually on the edge of) while standing on my back porch. I say used to because it got sold and the new owner cut and bush hogged everything down. :frown:
