Anyone hunting there. I went scouting today found a few spots and seen one wood duck. Any advice on hunting it

Heard it was good back in the day. Just not big enough to hold ducks if you ask me. Although you can scratch out a few.

I talked to some guys out there the other day been hunting there twenty year and said it was good back in the day. So guess ill find a new spot. I would try rainey break but you can't even put a boat in to about after one

Don't waste your time. Go deer hunting at Cattail marsh.

There will be days when its good:up: just got to catch them. Hunt when you can if its local, may be hitting it more next year myself:wink:

Yeah I don't wanna scout when folks are hunting and making them mad. I read on game and fish website that between 1pm and 4am there is to be no boats in the water on rainey break.

Put in on Thompson or go to the back and walk in

Well I would hunt that duck by going back to where ya saw him set up and wait. Lotta work for one duck though. Hahaha
