Okay this evening I was sitting in the stand and right at dark a 2 packs o yotes start howling one around 150 yards and the other close to half a mile. I start squeaking trying to see if I couldnt get one to come in range of the alphamax. I squeake for about a minute and stopped to take a break, when I hear a limb pop and something runnin. I reach aroun and grabbed my bow. When I look in front of me this cat (prolly 25 lbs) runs out and stops at my shootin lane at 15 yards. ( a chip shot I know) I draw and settle my pin. The cat catches movement and looks at me. I shoot and the :censored: thing jumps the string! I just barely manage to get a few hairs.:banghead: this is actually the first cat I've seen too:banghead:

If this is one of those threads, you shoulda used a rage. Then you would have killed it without even shooting ;)
