Just wondering if anyone has had any luck searching rivers like Little River or St Francis for artifacts?
I know there were several sites around here just wondering if searching the rivers is worth the time or are they to muddy since there aren't many gravel bars on them.
Trying to think of places to search until after harvest.

Creeks running into the rivers would be a place to try, most of them around here you can wade and I have found several points in the creeks here and 2-3 in the Moro creek itself...d2

I use know a shell diver that knew a place where an old drinking joint use to be on the bank of the river. He found lots of old bottles and jugs in that area.

St Francis and all the fields around it hold alot of arrowheads and artifacts. Most of what I hunt is on the cache river.

Lots of artifacts in the black river bottoms. I never searched for them but have picked up a bunch I spotted while hunting.
