Did everyone hear about the robbery at wingwood hunting club outside Hazen. Someone broke in and stole some things and lit the place on fire. That is as pathetic as it gets and puts out a warning to everyone who has a club or cabin to be careful, lock everything tight, and keep plenty of insurance on your place. There are a lot of people out there who have complete disregard for other peoples things. The funny part about this story is wingwood hunting club is owned by Frank Lyons Jr., who also owns wingmead farms and will stop at nothing from what Ive heard to catch these people. They have already posted a 25,000 reward for info on the thief. These thiefs definately deserve what they are fixing to have coming to them.

I hate a :censored: :censored: thief!!!! Sure hope they catch em......the guy that broke in my house last year, finally got what was coming to him...never proved he did it, but he was the #1 suspect...anyway, he died in a car wreck, not long ago!!!!

Word was, when the Mississippi and Arkansas rivers were flooded and the camps behind the levee were cut off from high ground, by the backwaers, guys were hitting camps.....by boat.......ripping off everything not tied down!!!!!!!

Luckily they didn't hit our place..cause our Caretaker had moved to high ground, and was not there 24/7!!!

I can ALMOST understand a thief, there's a profit motive to consider. But an Arsonist or Vandal will always be a mystery to me, destroying property for giggles. There ain't nothing funny about it. :censored:
There was a camp by the Lincoln and Jefferson county line that was set on fire a couple of years ago. And you are right will never understand their mind set.:frown:

You don't see many arson fires with rewards for information. Hope this brings some information forth and the responsible one or ones get caught.

A friend of mine lost his at Wabaseka the same way. Some morons pushed a window unit in and crawled in behind it. The took 2 or 3 shotguns a couple of cases of shotgun shells and some change that was in a big jar. Then they set it on fire. Burnt up his moose and elk mount and all the videos he had taken on him and his wifes trip to Colorado and Alaska. His Grampaw's duck calls and pictures burnt up too. We dont leave much at our camp such as pictures and stuff. The building can be replaced but not years and years worth of pictures. Dale has a big reward out too. His burnt about 3 years ago...d2
