Have you ever thought about getting it done with Cerakote. I've seen it at gunshows before and i really want to do my 870 in it
Armor-Lokt 870?
Well, I made a rookie mistake and left my clean 870 in a wet case. I pulled it out a couple days later and it was orange. The rust caused the blueing on the receiver to fuse to the case, so the blueing pulled off when I pulled the gun out of the case. I need to get it re-blued, but I wanted to see if anyone knows anything about the possibility of getting it done with the same Armor-Lokt coating that Remington does on their 887s.

I've never even heard of it. I'll look into it.
Also duracoat or parkerizing, either of those would work well.
