This story had ruined my name over there bc of a guy who was mad for no reason.
I met this guy an he has wanted to come duck hunting so I invited him. We stayed in contact through his trip, met at Mack's and had a good time meeting each other. We heading back and took 165 to 152. It's a curvy road, and he said I was flying. I was doing 55 slower around the corners. He knew I needed to get back quick, so I told him to follow me and we'll sight see after we hunt tommorow. He wanted to slow down and look at goose and duck, so I slowed down to a point he could see me but know we needed to get back. As soon as we got on 152 my iPhone froze so I turned it off and it wouldnt come back on. Well I turned off 152 and there was a ford right behind me(it was dark) so I figured it was him. That truck followed me almost all the way back to the house. When I noticed it wasn't him I turned around and went back. I don't know where he went but he wasn't on the highway we went. Must have turned on to 79 going back towards Stuttgart. I never found him. We met some boys at Mack's and made a plan to meet at the motel that next morning. He was right here and understood the plan. I went there the next morning to try to find him. He wasnt there.
He HAD my address prior to leaving in the TINY town we were i live. He was just a guy with no common sense on where to try an find me.
So before you jump the gun and say that I purposely ran off from him try to know the truth. Ask alot of people, I'm a stand up guy. If you wanna talk about it my names hunter sweat. 4792257060.
I think the SC guy is an IDIOT for driving back home after only 3 hours of waiting. Stuff happens, if he knew where his motel was at and he knew the address of arkyduckboy then the fault is all on him if he didn't want to keep up. It's not like he was in dallas trying to find a motel...we are talking about stuttguart? and Humphrey? If you can get lost in either of those towns I don't know how you made it here from SC.
Bottom line is, if I drive to 11 hours to duck hunt you can bet I'm duck hunting even if I have to throw decoys out from the boat ramp
I don't get on that other site. I find other funny that they all immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was Hunters fault.without even hearing the othreside of the.story. I've never hunted with him but have been invited to hunt with him anytime. He seems like a really good dude. What I can't understand is even by the other guys admittance he new that they were meeting at a.motel the next.morning. I do.t get why he wouldn't have showed up then?
I had the pleasure of meeting Hunter the other day for a public land duck hunt. Never met the guy before. Just told us to.come on down and we'll go hunt. Never had to take us in the timber or anything. Oh and im glad his phone was working that day bc I sure would have been stuck out there with a dead battery if he hadn't turned around to jump start my truck. There are two sides to any story. But I've got to ask WHY in the heck did the OP put this on another forum to slander his name without taking it up with him first?!?
It sounds like the guy just lost his temper too quick like he'd been "had" when he should have considered what could have happened and just met at the planned spot the next morning. If you take you family to six flags don't you always have a "if we get seperated meet here" plan? What an idiot. I put 100% blame on SC dude. I've never met Arkyduckboy in person but we have messaged back and forth and he seems like nothing but good ole boy to me. Can't see him purposely playing a prank of this magnitude on somebody like they are making it out to be on the other forum
I ve had several dealings with arky on and off this site and he s always kept his word:up:. Plus if I drove 11 hours and somebody pulled this and I had his addy, name and knew what his truck looked like, I would be at his door step when he came in the next morning ready to kick his balls in and pluck his eye balls out. Also they could have drove back to macks and found a place/person where they could go, being that far from home.
