For those of you that didnt make it all I can say is that you missed out.

We had a big time even though we got caught in one heck of a rain storm that included some pretty serious lightning and all of us got soaked to the bone.

I got to meet alot of folks that I had never met before and all of them seemed to be great guys. We had plenty of food and drinks and enough door prizes that everybody there got something plus AH decals if they wanted one.

Selfbow even had some trophies made up for the winners.

Folks that came were:

myself
dgolden
Gwynne
huntindoc
neotoxo
Selfbow
Grtbrttn
RazorBackFan
Bow4Me
Krankin
Jerkydudeonastick
Shot
Ol bucky
Earnhardt fan
possum
Jam

If Ive got this right the team winners are huntindoc, selfbow, Neotoxo, and Jerkydudeonastick but man it was close. When the scores were added up they were tied with Grtbrttn, RazorBackFan, Bow4Me, and Krankin.

We decided to have the high scorer from those two teams shoot an arrow at a dot target at 50 yards to break it.

Krankin shot for his team and got pretty close but huntindoc nailed it for his and broke the tie.

Congratulations to both teams!

Here are a few group pictures. Theyll have to tell you who is who themselves.

This is RazorBackFan taking careful aim:

Looks like somebody is looking for an arrow. :smack:

l-r: EarnhardtFan, Shot, dgolden, Gwynne

There's gotta be a good title to this one but I dont know what it is.

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil maybe?

The one in the back seems to be lookin' at something in the ditch... :head:

I would like to thank FB

We had a great time and everyone won a door prize!

I have more pics that I will post on Sunday. It was nice to put a face with all of the names out there today. But I have a question...........Do you think that was a mountain lion or a Bobcat on target # 18.

We sure have some nice folks here at Arkansashunting.net!
Thanks to all who came out today. Jam and Possum came out there just to say hi!.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for putting this on FB, the brats were great! Great shooting as well.

I will look forward to the next one. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I'll shoot better.

Great to shoot with NeoToxo, Ol Bucky, Selfbow and Jerkydudeonastick (who also gets my vote as best user name)!

I want to thank Selfbow for doing most of the planning and work and all the rest of you for showing up knowing you were probably gonna get wet! :thumb:

Huntingdoc...............You are the man!
You stepped up there on a shoot-off and drilled a 50 yard shot with all of the pressure on you.
UNBELIEVEABLE!!!

Thanks again to FB for the door prizes, great food and hospitality.
I cant wait untill the next smackdown. This was a real bargain @ $10 per head. It cost $10 to shoot at Ingram's on your own. This shin-dig had shooting, door prizes, great food and drinks, trophies and last-but-not-least.............BRAGGIN RIGHTS!

Thanks guys!

Smackdown

Well fellas I certainly had a fine time. Rain and all.

Had a good day on the range, only lost one arrow and
soundly trounced the competition in my division.

OK, OK, I was the only one in my division....traditional...so I guess
I beat myself :smack:
....but I shot from the Big Boy stakes like everyone else :thumb:

No complaints here, enjoyed having someone to play with for a change
and the hotdogs certainly hit the spot.

Same time, same place next year? I'll be there for sure.

Great time, good people:thumb:

Neotoxo
You more than held your own in our group.

We offered to let him shoot from a closer distance because he was the only traditional shooter in our group. He not only declined but held his own with the rest of us "wheel bow" guys at the same distance.

Conrgrats on a well earned victory!
