I've been reading a lot on the subject, but nobody seems to address the gas tube and it's relationship to the carrier key atop the bolt carrier.

I assume the tube is straight as delivered, and when properly installed it will enter the opening of the carrier key without adjustment.

My question is, considering the slight flexibility of the tube and the close fit into the carrier key opening, do they require adjustment to ensure proper "fit?" If a feller were to accidentally bump that tube whilst scrubbing crud out of the inside of the reciever, how would one get it back into alignment? I ask this because my tube sorta rubs slightly on the side of the carrier key...I don't think it'll wear itself out, but what is the proceedure to align tube with bolt carrier key?
