Was shown and texted this pic by a friend at Lake Hamilton Junior High basketball game last night
of this buck that was reportedly taken in the Hollywood area of Clark County, Arkansas.
It's an impressive buck, especially the size of the head and antlers.
Anyone know anything about this south arkansas dink ?

Has to be somebody's pen deer that got out. Everybody know's that there are no deer like that in Clark county unless it was someone's pet.

No matter where it came from that's a goodern.

    A stud for sure.

I wonder why people set on deer to take the picture, not a fan of that.

    A great looking buck.

Hollywood has always produced amazing deer. They managed the herd way before tv made it cool.

That deer came off of my lease, the biggest ever killed off our lease, to my knowledge. He grossed around 170 and netted around mid 150's. 14 points 20.5 inches wide. It is from right outside of hollywood.

Why does everybody assume that South Arkansas (clark, hot spring, dallas, co) is dink country. We have bucks killed every year on our lease in the 120-150 range.
  13. Another Clark County DINK! I know this came from there because I killed it...

And my 124" ten point from the second weekend of bow season. All killed off our lease this year, there's some big bucks in that area. Oh and all three were well over 200 pounds.

For the record, I agree with you completely MOGO. I was just pokin a little fun at some on here in the past that hunt or live in the Delta that have said south arkansas
pine needle country would NEVER be capable of producing good quality bucks on a consistent basis.
This just goes to show that they are mistaken if their assumptions.
