I don't duck hunt but I have been doing a lot of fishing around Lake Ashbaugh. Most of the guys hunting back behind the lake have said things are pretty slow. There have been some water level issues back there but from what I can tell things seem to be looking a bit better as far as the water goes.

That sounds like a familiar spot. I may have hunted there back in the 70's.

Well...... my season has straight up sucked!!!

The opening week was hotter than afffiaff!!!!!!

Since then... we're dead in the water!!! Or dry ground that is!!!!
Got a puddle on the field and no water in the woods where I normally hunt.

I'm sure I could find somewhere else on the river..... but everyone else is looking for somewhere else too!!!! Been to several "new" places and had the same thing..... no ducks!!

NEA took a beating this year as far as public land hunts!
