we are heading to our lease in wabbaseka this weekend.. just wondering if any one has been seeing any birds around the metro or anywhere else.. we coming regardless but it would make the ride better knowing there are a ton of birds there

We seen a ton about 60 to 80 miles southwest of there. So they have made it that far down. It was crazy.

We hunted at my friends dads lease in Wabbaseka this past weekend and it wasnt good at all. We didnt do very much shooting at all. Most of the mallards were flying sky high to Bayou Meto. Went to Bayou Meto today and they are definetaly there. Circle T Lodge down the road from where we were had some ducks holding in their fields and timber but the bean field and rice field didnt hardly have anything in it. Whats the name of y'alls club in Wabbaseka?

we have been staying in pine bluff. we like it better cause more selection of restaruants and the hotel is pretty nice too..

I dont know what fields you have leased but we drove around all over the place in Wabbaseka the other day and there wasnt hardly anything but spoonies sittin in fields. We took some mallards but not very many. If there is a blind in the field, which im sure there is. Good luck! Some were working just to find out that they would land in a flooded bean field behind us. With no blind and no dekes in it! There are plenty of geese though! Just put a patternmaster choke on your gun and get after them!
