2011 1546 Xpress DDP with floor lower front deck and pods in tan. 2400$ at Brooks. My buddy just bought one. I paid 2600$ at Rothwell. Both are tall transoms.
Brooks quoted me 2800 with no floor.....floor was like 300? So little over 3000 actually.....

Think I am gonna keep what I got though....boats have gotten stupid over price....I paid 1750 for a camo 1542ldv war eagle several years back....that boat is over 3200 now....WTF?!!! I ain't payin that kinda money for something I know is going to get abused, I'll run a beat up ol pos and be happy! Thanks for the input guys, I had no idea.......!

greg at rothwell has a 2000-sumth'n model express w/ a 25, he told me 3150 was as low as he'd go BUT, that was over the phone. i'm sure if you went there and flashed some long wheel-base 10's (100 dolla bills) in his face he prolly come down a lil more:shrug:

You did get there. Even tho CT didn't remeber the ride. Why do you even want a boat. Just get in the floor of mine. You can throw rotten fruit at the clowns when we run em down.
I was going to mention the GOOSE EGG size knot on Carl's head!!

we get there....sometimes...

Im not saying anything bad about xpress, weldbuilt, etc...but these boats are stamped out, manufactured boats. They have thinner bottoms and will not last against abuse. We have put every boat out there to the test while bowfishing. Trust me, blast off at some of our tournaments will destroy even the best of boats. If you want a boat that is going to last you the rest of your life, look at a custom boat builder. One that will build you a boat the way you want it from the ground up. F and F is one of the STRONGEST boats out there! They are unbeleivable at the abuse they will take. Also, Excel boats makes an amazing boat! They might b a little more than you are wanting to pay though. Either one of these manufacturers will build you a boat from your drawings and ideas. Just my .02!!

i agree about the FandF and i mentioned them earlier, they are pricey and as someone else mentioned it seems for some they don't handle as well. I personally have only been in 2 of em and seen no problems when i rode in them. this is the 1st yr i haven't rode in at least 1 of em, he's pretty hard on it for sure still looks good to me

weldbilt makes a great boat this is my newest boat for next year 1652 with sides and floor and livewell for river hunting and catfishing.f&f,wareagle, southfork, express make great boats also but for the money weldbilt can not be beat, i bought this boat and trailer brand new for $3750. For the guys with deep pocket the excels are very nice just to much for me, I hope to get great speed I just got a new 50hp short shaft yamme tiller. when you buy a boat make sure sides are equal the way the sides curve on both sides should match, I was going to buy a 1648 we from h20sportz in there showroom with the 40 etec but the side beams were not even(left side curved heavy , right side did not, and floor job was not the quality of weldbilt. good luck with your new boat
