All the big ducks were wadded up on the field beside us this morning and all we got were cursory glances. But the spoonies just kept swarming by us.

So what to do but smash a few. Ended up one short of a two man limit before I had to roll out.

Shot a very nice speck too!!!!

Hope they hunt the field tomorrow..... hard to see and hear thousands of ducks and not be able to scratch out any!!! Gonna tote in full bodies in the morning and see if it helps any.

That sounds as frustrating as last weekend was for me. Went to duck camp for a very unsuccessful hunt, but the ducks were using the field we didn't have permission to hunt that was located directly in front of the farm shop we were staying in. I had a blast with the guys, but it's frustrating to go kill no ducks, then watch the ducks work the field all mid morning and afternoon. Any weekend duck hunting is still better than not going.
