An hours worth of hunting yesterday!

    Two good point and a nice partial. Pottery pieces on bottom. Middle piece is actually the bottom of a bowl or pot. Top left is a busted up grinding stone. You can reall see the rounded edges in person.

    Nice pieces. Your just surface hunting I suppose. My brother and I do some hunting, I'll try to get some pics next time.

    Yep, surface hunting. They used a subsoiler last week before the rain so I'm chomping at the bit to get back out there with more time to hunt.

    What would a rounded rock have been used for? Softball sized or a little bigger. Smooth and round. Looks like a rock cannon ball, but of course it ain't.

    Didn't know you hunted rocks too, one of my favorite things to do. I have had one piece published in two different magazines, but still always out there looking for another killer artifact.
