From what I understand, any straight wall cartridge in a non semi auto, and this is to include slugs in a pump?
Seen no mention, but I guess revolvers are good?

Oh I didn't know that. That opens up a bunch of options. The 1.8” rule is gone.

Yep, Can deer Hunt with a Center Fire Rifle from Bear season through December..Clean and package your own ,set your own Rules on your Land..Who's going to Know..just hunt on your own place or where you'll not get caught with whatever you want to hunt with
that's REALLY what the AG&F is saying ................... I emailed them as much and I was brutally honest with this idiot rule change
One thing about it, They " Deer" won't be standing on the side of the road looking at ya.. 😁😉just hunt on your own place or where you'll not get caught with whatever you want to hunt with

I dunno, I figure it won’t be long now and they legalize trapping and snaring. Couple snares hanging from the legs of a feeder about antler high, and anchored off to a good tree can really lay bucks down….or so I’ve heard….Give it 10 years and these will be the only thing legal to hunt with.
I would not depend on the Dem Gaz to provide you with AGFC Code. Just sayin!Concerning slugs, I posted this in another thread , I'll repost below from Ar. Dem Gazette:

Straight-wall cartridge debate was confounding | Arkansas Democrat Gazette
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission held a chaotic debate Wednesday over its proposal to allow hunters to use straight-wall cartridges during muzzleloader deer season.www.arkansasonline.com
If it has rifling in the barrel, it’s a rifle. Not my fault game and fish doesn’t know their ass from a hole in a barrel. They’re ignorant wording also makes tipped copper bullets illegal, since they aren’t lead or hollow points. Just another fine example of absolute ignorance.• Alternative firearms season - formerly muzzleloading.
◦ Zone 4 and 5- “Rifles chambered specifically for straight-wall centerfire cartridge cases and hunting with lead and lead alloy, soft nose, and/or hollow-point bullets no less than .30 caliber.”
◦ Statewide Alternative “Non-semiautomatic ceterfire firearm which fires a straight-walled rifle cartridge .30 caliber or larger.
Notice it says "rifle cartridge". I think it would not be in one's best interest to try and convince a game warden that your shotgun is a rifle or that your brass shot shell is a "rifle cartridge". I predict that one will go before a judge....sadly.
OMG this just gets better and better. So they release new regs for “muzzleloader season” and we don’t even have a ML season anymore. Here’s the actual regulation from the AGFC, as of May 22. Resume argument.
