I have a 70's model Evinrude 55 hp with steering column I'm going to give away. I've already replaced the engine and just ready to have it moved. I took it to Art's Marine and there needs to be some repair on it. I believe they said the stators and rectifier needs to be replaced. The engine will turn over, it just won't start. I'm sure if someone (unlike me) knows anything about outboards can probably fix it cheaper than it was for me to pay to have it fixed. Anyway, whoever wants it, can come pick it up. I'm in the Conway area.

Ol bucky, it's all yours. It's not going anywhere. Just let me know when you are this way.

Thanks but I really don't know when I'll make it that way. If someone else wants it then let em have it maybe they can get it out of your way sooner. If I see I'm going to be that way in a day or two I'll get ahold of you. Thanks mike

I believe it's around a 75 model. It has 3 intake holes in the lower unit.
