Has anybody chrono'd this stuff? 24" test barrel with 2200 fps outta the muzzle.

Probably 1800 fps @ 100 in a 20". Not many bullets are gonna expand reliably that low

Pretty much 100% of the factory loads for 350 legend will expand at 1800fps. Zero concern.

They’re much less powerful than any modern muzzleloader

99.9999% of hunters don't use what you are referring to as a "modern muzzleloader". Said differently, the 350 legend has better ballistics than what 99.9999% percent of hunters in AR would otherwise use.

It's simply put, its just a 380 /9mm pistol bullet with a little more powder behind it
I myself am not a fan of it but to each their own , My Encore with a TC or Hornady 250 bullet followed by a 85 measured wieght of blackhorn 209 powder is bullseye out to 250 yards using the scope in the manor it is built for so I'll stay with it when it comes to shooting

Its a 357 Maximum cartridge without the rim basically. I think the 350 Legend is a perfectly acceptable caliber out to around 120 or so yards. I wouldn't shoot further. I also wouldn't shoot your muzzleloader load that far either. With only 85 grs of powder and a 250 grain bullet, the ballistics are probably at best equal to, but likely worse than the 350 legend.
