You are correct. I was playing devils advocate. I had seen a gun show where they were showing what would happen if you put in the wrong ammo in a rifle. The ammo looked very similar. I think the show was Guns and Ammo (the torture test- someone let me know if this is wrong).I thought you can only use the soft pointed Leverevolution bullets in a .308 express? It's a tubular magazine, so regular pointed bullets could set off the whole thing, right?
That's what I thought. I'm a big fan of the Marlin lever action. When I first read about that gun, I was all excited to get one, but then I saw that you only have one bullet option. Forget that!You are correct.
