So I was watching YouTube and I saw a guy trying to figure his overall case length for his rifle by taking a lubed bullet and an unprimed case and sticking them together then loading into the chamber, slowly pushing the case onto the bullet, making the bullet rest on the lands. He then says to back the bullet down a few thousandths to give it the short jump start and then use this length for loading the remaining rounds. So I did this and this is how the COAL looks versus the factory round. I know the cartridge is made to have the bullet deep in the case, but this size even fits in the mag and loads smoothly. What say you guys that have loaded this round before?
