I've never shot but have wanted to for years. Are these events that a new guy can show up, most likely suck, buy have fun and get help?
These events range from novice to pro. Start at novice and move back once you have won a time or 2. We get new guys everytime and they love it. I started just to keep my yardage game up to par when hunting season came in. Now I travel and shoot a lot. Come to paris arkansas and shoot with us sometime. If I go to 12 ring in conway, we can meet and shoot together. It really is a lot of fun and you will find out a lot more about archery tuning wise. Its just for fun but when you go to the pro/am tours those are for money and they are still a lot of fun.

Awesome. I appreciate the help! It looks like a blast and I want to get better.
Its a great time and definitely worth the time to do it every once in a while plus you meet lots of new people.
I think there are events up that way. If not, missouri had some I know for sure. Ill see what I can find out for you and post what I can.
Like ASA or IBO its just another archery association. I like the class they have called modern hunter. Its 15 regular targets, 15 from hunting simulation and 15 pop up targets.
