I have a 2 year old english, He was not hunted alot before I got him. He strikes good and will work a track just not real quick, he also seems to have trouble settleing on a tree. He has treed his own coons but is not by any means a finished dog. I think he has what it takes if someone wants to put some time in him. I just prefer a cur. I would trade him for a cur out of coon hunting dogs. He is UKC registered and some of the dogs on the papers are GRNITECH "flowers" fire creek rapper, GRNITECH "flowers" Sadie, NITECH GRCH "tuffeys" red rooster, NITECH woodstock little red, NITECH cary or singletons red ruby, GRNITECH Flowers Wild fire, GRCH memorymaker mistic melody, CH GRNITECH selbys smooth talking Jed. I am gonna hold on to him he treed his own coon tonight. I am just gonna wait and buy a cur once I get him finished out.

Well I have hunted him the last three nights, Even though he is doing ok I still want to get a cur so I am gonna sell him. First coon, he tracked down along the river and Treed along the bank, I did see the coon before he settled in and not sure he would have settled on it or not if i wouldn't have known it was there and encouraged him. Last night he worked the track real good but my buddys pup located the tree though. He is just really not meeting my expectations on figuring out the tree. He does run a track well though. Not running deer as far as I can tell. Has run two Opposums since I have had him. The last couple weeks he has treed on a couple sure enough den trees. Doesn't set up real hard though. He has the drive to hunt just needs to figure out the tree end. I am just trying to be as honest as I can with him. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Treed three times friday night. 2 dens and one on the outside. He is doing better. He set up on all three of the trees. Did run another opossum and caught one on the ground and killed it. I really want a cur though I would like to sell him. Wish I could just talk the wife into another dog. Before I get another he has to go though.
