I had some activity at first light. Heard a lot of crunching. Then saw one with its nose to the ground. Couldn't see good enough to tell what he was. Looked big bodied. Wind is bad for me. I tried all the no scent stuff this morning. Shampoo, soap, deodorant, spray for clothes. Might be working. All the activity was down wind.

Man don't say that on here! The real hunters are going to come over here and tell you how you are NOT hunting but only killing deer!

Just had several go by at 60 yds. I need a stand over there. I've seen several on that path this year. Guess I'll put another one up tomorrow. Going to give it another hour. Then the wife and I are heading to Branson and Springfield.

Held out til 10, then got a text that breakfast was ready. Missed a squirrel

Taking the wife out this afternoon to try to get her a doe for the triple trophy. Have pics of two big bucks in the am for the last week every morning so tomorrow she might be able to smoke one of those big boys. One has a broke off drop tine and is blind in one eye and the other looks to be a big typical 10. Already have a taxidermy bill of close to $900 this year so whats a few hundred more, right. I'm gonna carry my bow out tomorrow evening and try to fill one of my bonus tags on a big slick head. Good luck to everybody!
