I wonder if the camera was higher than the shooter...

Also, notice that the second deer was trying to get up, and right at the end managed to get up on its front legs and try to drag itself off.... should have been a follow-up shot on that one....

Sounds like another round was chambered in the end of the vid. Hopefully the down deer was dispatched quickly.

I suspect that the shooter was on or near ground level with the photographer being elevated.
