Had a real good hunt Saturday came out with 27 and my puppy got to spend some good learning time with her parents....

I was in on the hunt with BBD and it was a good one. :biggrin: Even with the wind blowing and a little rain on our heads. :smack: We could have killed more if BBD wouldn't have been so shy about shooting his gun. :wink:

I'm not sure if the next hunt will be a buddy hunt or more of a competition (most of the members like the buddy hunts the best). They said on Saturday that the next hunt would probably on fairly short notice in hopes that they could plan it when the weather and river levels are most cooperative.

123 shots? wasn't that your total? Heck, that's just getting the barrel warmed up.

If that's with a shotgun then you'd fit right in with the group I hunt with. If it's with a .22 then you're gonna have to work on shooting more.
My uncle usually goes through a 550 bulk pack of .22 shells on every decent hunt.

That's 123 shots from a 12 guage. I had a .22, but not sure how many bullets I went through.

How do you get in on that?

Found out some info on the next buddy hunt. It's going to be held on February 2nd. Deadline to be signed up is 7:00 that morning. Cost is $10 for the hunt and lunch.
Sign up and lunch will be held at the Bradley County Coon/Squirrel Club located just about half way between Warren and Hermitage on Hwy 63.
