Hey- Has anyone used Banded's coats with the SHEDS outer layer? I don't use Gore-Tex or other breathable outer coats when it's raining because the rain ultimately "breathes" right thru to my skin. The SHEDS membrane is on their waders ( if it's the same material) so I would think it should actually keep the rain out. Anyone have any experience or insight? I hate to spend the money and get "soaked" in the deal. Thanks
Yes I have worn the white river jacket for 2 seasons now. I couldn’t be happier. I wear goretex for work, and you’re right the rain eventually ends up getting in to ya. I wore the Banded jacket on a rainy hunt and I was the only one out there in our group of 6 that was dry. I highly recommend it. It is a very warm jacket as well, I am fine on most days with just the jacket and a thin long sleeve or t shirt under it.
Thanks-that's what I was hoping to hear, I think I'll order the Natural Gear version-really believe that color is best camo in the woods on cloudy days.
If you're talking about the nat gear waterfowl parka (the 4 in 1) you'll absolutely love it. That thing is warm as heck, and definitely will keep you dry.
