I did not get to go. Maybe this weekend.
Nope. May give it a go Sat morn for an hour or two. Gnats are some kind of fierce right now. Hoping they move along before then.
My son and I found a bit of a spot out of the water. I didnt get into the woods until 9:00 am. We killed one each.
I got a pair of knee high snake proof boots from my FIL. Otherwise the only squirrels I would have a chance to see would be on the ground in front of my feet!
Where did y'all go? And why is DJ at home?
thank i will wait till fall to squirrel hunt. got to many coon hunts to go to.
We went to Pinetree. Saw and heard several. We went back at daylight this morning and only saw 2 each. Neither one of us killed a squack.
REB you are slippin
All this danged water has me all messed up.
I guess I am going to have to learn to snorkel for squack.
REB i got a 14 foot flat bottom boat i will loan you so you can just float around and kill some squacks
I might need to borrow it. You go with me with a dip net. One can shoot and the other can try to catch the squacks before they hit the water..
We have had this debate before.... Do squack sink?
I think they do.
J B i don't know i always hunt with dog they grab them before they sink
They do. Their tails will float in shallow water, but in deep wafer, grab then fast.
Any of you fellas going tomorrow?
Me and Sapper will be out if it is not raining.
We drew two early games in pool play tomorrow. So no squirrelin for us, just baseball.
I can't go hunting this morning! I don't have a hunting license! Arrrrggg!
