Good looking call. Ugly price.
It is the same call and cut as the original DS Diablo. However, they are just changing from the original paint design. The red/black John Stephens DS Diablo was a limited run, exclusively for Mack's.
whats the over/under on this thing sticking like the regular diablo?
Your question makes no sense?
I think this is what you meant to say, "What are the odds of this thing sticking like the regular diablo?"
An over-under is a wager in which a sportsbook will predict a number for a statistic in a given game (usually the combined score of the two teams), and bettors wager that the actual number in the game will be either higher or lower than that number.
thanks Webster.... or was it dictionary.com?
anyway...my diablo sticks really bad....and that seems to be the consensus (the judgment arrived at by most of those concerned) on the diablo...the sound great, dont get me wrong....just sticks really bad.
Take it to the shop or mail it to them. Tell them what is going on and what your are doing when it sticks. They will fix it.
im using it like i use every other call..... i may have to take it to them sometime....or just leave it on the shelf.
so whats the differences in the diablo and this daisy slayer (ds diablo)?
My understanding is that the DS is John's cut/tune on the regular diablo.
I had a ds(red quake skull) last year for about 4 hours, was too soft of a call. The Daisy Slayer is based on this cut?
And where is said call now? Folks are paying decent money for the used Red/Black DS Diablo.
Yes, my understanding is the new DS is based on that same red/black ds diablo.
RNT: sold , wish I still had it now. I wouldn't mind having a couple of the metal banded Mondo's also...
If the Diablo is like the Timberhawg and I would bet money it is the issue is the cork. I change my cork out pretty regularly to fix sticking. The call runs fine now and is one of two I actually hunt with.
Well then... I'll set the over/under at 16 sticks before 0930 on Ditch on 11/23/13... Any takers!?
None on this forum will ever know!
Quit spitting in it.
Just like a BBDH, always spittin in his call.
Thanks for the advice. Never thought of that......
I don't spit in it that much. Don't have a problem with my daisy cutter, or timber, or olt. Just Those whiney calls always seem to stick when I'm out hunting.
