It's Time for Some Baseball

My grandson has his first USSSA baseball tournament this weekend in Jonesboro. He's ready, and I'm ready. The weather is supposed to be perfect. Man, I can't wait. Took him to batting practice last night, and he was crushing the ball. He's still struggling with his pitching, but that will come. I told him the most important thing for him this weekend was for him to carry a big stick up to the plate.

We started our HS season this week and while the games have been fun to watch its been to dang cold for my liking.. Should be a great weekend for baseball though.. Good luck to the young man..
