My best Cameron Hanes impersonation! Doesn't get more redneck than shirtless fishing. My youngest fell out of the boat so he finished the fishing trip on Lake Conway in just my shirt, he was a trooper. So remember always leave their life jackets on!!

You might need to go see a doctor about all those knots on your belly. I don't think that's normal.

Not monsters, but a lot or pretty dark fish. Havent been in awhile and it took some adjusting to get on them. 16' deep last time I went. 2' deep today. Most of the females have pulled back out. Water temp 70 degrees.

This big one was 150 yards from my property line. If we could bait alligators, I would be putting in for a private land permit this year. 11 1/2' to 12'.

SC did you see the video floating around Facebook of a gator doing a mating call, vibrating the water on Millwood? I think someone posted it to the AGFC page. He looks to be 11 foot plus. Last year they had one on bois d'arc doing the same thing.

I did not see that video, but I have seen them do it. I often hear them from my back deck during mating season.

I saw six or seven yesterday afternoon. This one was the biggest by a couple of feet. This is actually the best time to see them all the way out of the water. When it is hot or cold, you usually just see their head. Early spring and late fall - they will crawl all the way out of the water to sun.

He looks big - only the really big ones seem to have that big wad of meat/fat just behind the jaw.
