Folks just wanted to pass a long a magazine I finished reading last night, and boy did it have some pretty good articles. I must say for the hunter interested in food plots, nutrition, supplemental feeding, etc, this magazine has a little of all.

Me, being what I consider a average person in food plot knowledge, but interested in learning all I can, a magazine like this can really spark new ideas, and techniques to the common lay person, not associated with a farming type background, in the growing of good food plots for deer and other animals..

The article on the future of deer hunting was real good, and feel many articles like that need to address issues of that nature.

Thanks for the magazines cpeuban, and I will surely hand them out at our Family Deer Day. Lee Lane

My favorite article was the one on crossbows and last months crossbow survey results:

Do you support the use of crossbows during archery season?

Yes 37%
No 12%
Handicapped Only 49%
Undecided 2%

Think maybe I'll post these results over in the Archery Forum for further review and comment! http://www.arkansashunting.net/images/smilies/thumb.gif

If you would just do a little research and do your own thing, You can do it a Hell of a lot cheaper and better than Whitetail institute. They ain't doing nothin but trying to sell a product at a Hell of a profit!!!!! Reminds me a Hell Of a lot like Amway only a different product.

Agriturf here in town has the same stuff ......cheaper. He went to bass pro and wrote down the differant seed types and came back home and came up with the same stuff

They have a patent on their hybrid seeds so it may be similar but it will not be the same. WI has a very solid, researched product line that has been proven over the years. I am not saying you can't come up with your own, but it will not be the same as the Whitetail Institute seed.

I've got several plots with WI stuff and I have two large plots that are with Agriturf stuff and its just as if not a bit more productive. And they do have the patent but they also have a family of seed blends that don't have patents
