This is what hunting is really all about now-a-days.
Again, thinks to everyone that helped me struggle through the process of learning how to post a photo.

She is a beauty. Teach her to hunt and fish and you will never have to wonder where she is.

Ty - somebody needs ta teach him something!
TY,
I would like to commend you on your hunting buddy. Not everybody would have the patience like you must have to take a goofball like that hunting.

It was difficult but it got done one way or the other from teaching him what end of the gun to hold (that took a long time) to watching him shoot his first deer (he shot at it 5 times, hit it all 5 times just 4 times in the leg and once as a gut shot).

This one just turned 7 yrs old and shot a .22 rifle for the first time. Not bad for 25 yards. I need to shorten the stock for him quite a bit. Photo was made in Jan. 2005.

Lee you look like your about 20 years old in that last pic....
Mine is my shadow Clyde Micah Day. I have had him out in the outdoors in the first weeks of his life. His first hunting trip he was just under one and that was opening day of Dove season. I pulled him around in a little red wagon sit up like a crib and he has not missed a season yet. Just the last couple years he has been shotting them himself.
I remember his first few times out deer hunting. I did not get any deer, but something better, memories. Everytime we went out we would jump some deer either going in or leaving. He did not call it deer hunting, but deer hopping. Someone ask why he called it that and he replied because everytime we see any they are hopping away.
By the age of three he could cast a 5 foot spincast rod and reel and had landed one of every species of fish in the state of Arkansas.
The last couple of years have gotten better. He has harvested three deer and one tom turkey. He has gotten into waterfowl hunting something I have no interest in, but support him in his adventure. He has really took off with this hunting and fishing.
To bad I do not have any way of posting pictures.
