Tournament is over with - I don't recall the names but big bass was something like 5.49 pounds and the overall winners has something like 17.44 pounds. I believe there were sixteen boats in the tourny. Everyone seemed to have had a great time eating hotdogs and shootin-the-bull after the weigh-in. Y'all will have to ask Hoyt or fisherman for more details.

reject and his friend Doug, Rummington, fairweather and b-i-l Chuck, Leeeeetle Rat, deerhunter, Argroundswatter, Hoyt, DM, fisherman & spouse Laura, and myself were at camp last night eathing some great food - thanks to all the cooks (DM, Doug, Laura, & AGS). Oy yes, Argroundswatter is an official full-fledged member of the OF Society - I swore him in! Those of you who missed it last night still have time to go and eat more tonight at LC State Park - camp site # 69 - you can't miss that bunch.

The tournament was a good time, I was happy to meet everyone and enjoyed the fishing. The ADHA's officers and directors should probably stick to deer hunting and leave the fishing to someone else. Wish everyone could have made it. I'm looking forward to our next event.

Fairweather, it sure was good to meet you and Chuck. I would share a campfire with you guys anytime. Rjet told me about the watchbullfrog that you had guarding your ice chest. :thumb:

Argroundswater,

Was a privelidge to meet you. I have not had such a good pot of beans in I dont know how long, musta been a previous life when I did. Thanks for showing up to swap some stories and bring that fine eating.

Anyone else that wants to read,

The crawfish was great as it always is and ole dodge did a fine job cooking up the talapia and catfish. Poker game was better for some of us than others but that is just the way it goes. Tournament sucked for those of us that didnt catch a fish. Luckily my partner made a respectable showing and put us in fifth place. I feel real bad about spraying that lure dye on the carpet of his brand new boat. Am sure he will get over it in 50 or so years.
As far as the pics, I will post some tomorrow. I have a pic of the fire-breathing frog that tried to attack me while stealing a diet coke outta chuck's cooler but didnt get a pic of the coons, possum and squirrel. I tried all night to catch those coons in a bucket but think the lighter that i had as a trip on the bucket musta been defective. Kinda glad that sucker never really got caught, woulda been kinda tough trying to free him from the bucket. Was a great time with a great buncha folks and cant wait to do it again.
