The ABA has 3 shoots a year, all at Camp Robinson. The Spring shoot this year is scheduled for the 19th and 20th of March, The Roger Maynard Scholarship Shoot on May 30th, this is a shoot I'd like to see everybody at, all the proceeds go to a scholarship fund. The final shoot of the year is the ABA Fall 3-D Championship, it includes a coon shoot and a bowhunter bonanza (broadhead shoot) on September 17th and 18th.

Possum is exactly right, the ABA only has 3 shoots per year of it's own. However we have affiliated (local) clubs all over the state that have shoots all through the season. There is a full schedule on the ABA website www.arkansasbowhunters.org (http://www.arkansasbowhunters.org) which is updated almost immediately upon receipt of schedules from clubs.

Good evening:
It's been awhile since I've been on, but that is due to much traveling, catching up on work, setting up a new computer, and finally getting DSL. Now, I can communicate quicker from home. I've had the ability to communicate quickly from the office, but have been too busy.

I will also post shoots on the ABA section - not the entire schedule but 1 or 2 months ahead as I receive information.

Thank you for your interest and I hope all of you will make as many shoots as your time allows.

Keith

All you have to do is show up with a bow that is legal for one of the classes and pay your money and shoot, everyone is welcome. ABA is just the group that sanctions the shoots.

We need members - the more we have, the more effective we can be to support, and protect bowhunting, and the more we can do with our newsletter.
