I'm glad to see the ABA has its own section. That is good. I don't know how long it has been here since I've been out of circulation for awhile.

Now, a question:
How many of you bowhunters are ABA members?
If not, please let us know why? We would like to know. Perhaps it's something we can address.
If you are a member, let us know why you joined. That is also very important because we want to be responsive to our membership.

If not a member and you wish to join, here is how.
Annual membership (family) = $15.00
Life Membership = $250.00
All you need to do is send your information:
Name, address, phone numbers, e-mail address, and a check to:
Arkansas Bowhunters Association
PO Box 22832
Little Rock, AR 72221-2832

By the way;
If you name a current member as a sponsor you and the sponsor will be entered into the annual membership contest. The contest ends at the ABA 3-D Championship and Fall Shoot. There are lots of great prizes including hunts, equipment, artwork, and other fine items.

I'll be happy to address any questions or concerns you have. Feel free to respond on this thread, start a new one, or PM me.

Have a great day.

I had been in it a couple of years in the past but let my membership lapse and just renewed it a few weeks ago.

It was one of those things I just hadnt gotten around to or given much thought till the Commissioners started their "assault" on bowhunting.

That kinda jolted me back into realizing that I should be a member of an organization that has the interests of bowhunters in mind and I encourage all you other bowhunters to do the same.

Its only $15 per year and the newsletter alone is worth that.

Keith, I will gladly tell you, in detail, why I quit over 20 years ago when we meet.
Thanks, Pat.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. I know from experience, that when you're down in your back, you are usually down all over.

Thanks Hill Hopper

Joining, supporting, and working in hunting organizations is how we all stay strong in the face of the anti's and any misguided groups who try to take away the rights of hunters.

We'll do our best for all of you.
