I want to thank Rjet, Dodge, reflex, Efan, Tybo, Remington, Solocam, Lx Shooter, Deerhunter, Rattle, Tony R, Fisherman, Dspeakes and son inlaw, for coming and sharing camp. I had truelly a outstanding time. No one shot a deer on my ground, but I think there was some chances had, by Tony R, Rattle and Deerhunter. The wind was rough Sat, and Rattle was still able to have 8 does come in close, with Rjet seeing 4 that morning walking around behind the cabin. Deerhunter, had a small basket six, sunday morning down by my plots. When you group 15 serious deerhunters, in one camp, someone is going to see deer, I don't care how bad the weather is, and it was proven this weekend. I guess the only anlter deer seen all weekend was by deerhunter sunday morning.
The guys hunting over on Harold saw deer as well. Fisherman and I, scouted friday, and walked most of the foodploted areas out, the deer are using the plots, but some more than others.
Last night poker game was a little more gentler on me than the night before. Dodge didn't win the big hand, he had previously, so I think the money was spread out little more evenly that night. Relfex, plays a mean hand of reddog, but is quite the player at acey deucy as well. Rattle was my lucky charm for the night, all he had to do was tap the deck, for me on Acey Deucy, and I won,,so big thanks there rat.
Rjet was impressed with reflexes handling of money, and asked Reflex if he was ever a banker in his past working career. Reflex, replied no, unless you want to count the time he was the banker playing monopoly once. Which got a big laugh. That reflex is sharp as a tack, I tell you. I enjoyed playing cards, talking to wee hours in the morning, sitting around the fire, and BSing.
Rjet, dude I appreciate those boots, and shirt. I have been wanting some of those boots since the first of the year. graemlins/thumb.gif I'll hang on to them.
And sorry about stepping on you last night, I didn't know you were there.
And who put the deer head in my bed, with me. Ya'll lucky I didn't have a flash back, messing with me in my sleep. Folks let me warn you if you ever share a camp with this boys, don't take a nap or sleep in the morning, cause these boys are ruthless. Best thing is go get on stand and then take a nap.
