We have got our state approval, and are currently waiting for our federal tax exempt status, and our Tax ID number. This should be coming soon, maybe by end of next week.
We have odered our stickers, and they should be in by first of the year.
Our website is also close to being finished.
We have had a non-business dinner here in Jonesboro, which was a great turnout. We had great fellowship, and got to put some faces with folks we have been talking with on the ************* chat board. There is another dinner in Russleville scheduled friday night. One thing I have noticed being a part of this, is folks enjoy meeting other hunters across the state, and truelly like to have a good time. And man let me tell you, thats what this is all about. I believe in my heart, when us deerhunters, get organized and get a strong base of membership, we can be as strong as some duck hunting organizations in the state. And promoting our sport will only help secure our deer hunting heritage in our state.
I would like to welcome and thank the new charter members who have came on board this month and last. I look forward to meeting you and working with you next year.
As soon as we get everything approved from the federal, we will be sending out stickers and membership cards to our charters, as well as accepting regular memberships.
Please don't forget the AGFC meetings across the state on Jan 6th. And if given the chance put a plug in for the ADHA for membership.
I appreciate you time, and hope your hunting season is a success. Thanks Lee Lane
