I just saw an infomercial on this flying lure. They make it out to be some kind of trophy bass magnet. Anybody actually ever used this thing?

that thing has been around for several years, if it is as good as they say it is, the Pros', guys who fish for a living, would be using it.

Got a package of them for X-mas one year caught a few but not no trophy but they did work. Have seen them at wal mart before
I was not impressed with them.

Meant to attract consumers, not fish.
A total waste of money. Spend your cash on some RoosterTails, beetle spins, and Roadrunners - will catch a lot more fish for a lot less $$$

Well no Sh graemlins/censored.gif Battman. I know the infomercial is just meant to attract customers. I was wondering for curiosity's sake if anyone had ever actually bought these contraptions and used them.

I have used them. There are a lot better lures on the market. We did catch fish on them, but no more than any other bait.

A fishing buddy of mine had some of those lures. He said they sure would go up under the bank of the lake like they were advertised. He said they would go so far under the bank that they would hang roots so far back that you would never see the lure again. He said they were a waste of money.
