I have heard that the catfish was caught on Lake texoma. 145 lbs

i dont think this is a native species of catfish, it's colored like a channel catfish but i know that they dont get that big, its definately not a blue or a flathead.

OK GUYS, Here's the real deal on the big whiskers according to my man at snoops.com

The photograph is a real one, and the fish pictured may actually weigh close to 140 pounds, but the picture wasn't taken at Lake Texoma (and the fish shown isn't a blue catfish). It's a photograph taken out of context from a French web site devoted to catfish angling and circulated with a fictional explanation.

Here be the world record 121 1/2 pound Blue Cat caught out of Lake Texoma. Cody Mullennix the guy on the left be the one that caught it. (rod & reel)
