Hey guys i am new to this forum but have read post for several months, and have enjoyed this great site.

I am trying to find out some info on Crappie fishing in the central part of the state. (Exp: Lake Conway, Arkansas River, etc.) I love Crappie fishing but have never been able to spend the time to find a great spot to fish with 3 small kids at home.

If anyone could point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it!!!!!

Thanks,
Chris

I do not know of any place over there to catch crappie. I mainly fish bar pits off of the Mississippi River here in Arkansas and Tennesse. You can really catch some nice ones and several of them while you are at it. smile.gif

If you live around Lake Conway just watch the cars along the road by the bridges, that will tip you off to when and a place to start as well. 89 bridge, the bridge just past Mayflower are a couple of spots to watch. In the river Rector Chute (North from 430)is a good place if you catch it right. If you aren't afraid of elbow to elbow below any dam if it has a little current (or a lot) can provide good fishing.
