Have any of you eaten one of these toothy, boney, ugly things. My sister caught one last saturday and didn't know what it was and my brother in law cleaned it and my sister cooked it. She fixed me a plate and told me to eat it. The meat had a good flavor but it was so full of bones that it took me forever to eat it. graemlins/smack.gif

We used to catch alot of them on Bodcau creek which runs into lake earling. They name is really chain pickeral. Alot of people call them jack fish or case knife jack. We havent figured out a way to fillet them yet, but if you get a mess of em they still make a great meal. i dont mind picking the meat off...to me it is great tasting.

I knew their proper name but I had one of those moments that I couldn't remember how to spell the name. Harder to spell than drum. graemlins/smack.gif
