I took my son out this evening. I caught two spotted bass (kentucky bass). I think if we would have got out before the front came in we would have done better.

The Automatic Dam off of Big Lake Refuge. I went back today and caught one nice one.

I caught this one Saturday. It weighed 5-8. Can't wait till the big 'uns start biting!!

Now deerhunter, I have a don't ask-don't tell policy--Don't ask, cuz I ain't gonna tell!!

There was a tournament at VCSP over the weekend. A fish weighing just over 1 pound won the pot at $400.00 (I don't fish tournaments)

I haven't heard any good reports of the big 'uns biting yet at Village Creek. Plan to be there around the 15th of April. That's when I generally do my best out there if the water is right.

I guess I could narrow down the answer to your original question though. The fish came from somewhere in the north unit of White River Refuge....

Do you fish Dunn or Austell or both.

If you're looking for big fish, fish Austell. If you're looking for numbers, fish Dunn. Dunn does have some big ones as well.
