That's why they made that Nascar thread for you Dooodgie. You don't see me on it do you. That's because I feel the same way about Nascar you do football, but I don't go there and rag every post about how much I hate it. :rolleyes:

Why would you hate NASCAR, you don't see those guys in trouble for drugs, beating their wives, griping about not getting paid, on tv everyday bitching and moaning about something, and if these guys want more money then they just race harder, and they have never went on strike, and everyday they go to work they could be killed.

Don't get me wrong I played football and enjoyed it, I like watching college and some pro. I just think they need to shut their damn mouths and do their job or go home. You know if we got in the trouble they did or complained like they did we wouldn't have a job. No I don't have the ablility that they do, but they shouldn't have that kind of talent and do some of things they do. :mad:

I don't want to argue with you about It. It just doesn't interest me. I just as soon watch cement dry. There is bad apples and good ones in every sport. I'm not going to change your mind and your not going to change mine, I'm not even going to try. If you like it, that's great, go for it. That's why so many different varieties of everything, sports, women, hunting, fishing, vehicles. It would be a pretty boring world if everybody liked the same thing. But bottom line is Just enjoy your thing and let me enjoy mine. ;)

Problem with these atheletes are they are young and stupid and have a boatload of money. Some can handle it and some cant. I can see where it would be real easy to go wild being 24 years old and in that circumstance.

That is the problem,now days athletes dont have to prove anything at the pro level before they sign a multi million dollar contract. It's just made too easy for them. I still love it and I make sure I get back home from the deer woods every Sunday by noon so I can watch my beloved football. graemlins/thumb.gif

You hit it on the head in my opinion Rjet. It's not just football players. It's movie stars, singers, boxers,tennis players, golfers (about ruined Daly and he was a poor Yell county boy), baseball players anybody else that goes from having nothing to being famous, idolized and rich in a hurry. Most were good people before they reached their stardom. Some people just can't handle all the money and stardom and keep their feet on the ground. I don't know if I could or not, but it sure would be nice to try!!!
