Shaq & Kobe

Do you guys think Kobe and Shaq will be with the Lakers next year? If not where do you think they'll land? I don't care for either but I'd like to see them traded somewhere just to hear the Laker fans cry.

Hopefully, one of them will land in Memphis. The Memphis sports writers are willing to give Shaq anything he wants...police chief, mayor, his own bbq joint, name a street after him, a park, president of Memphis Light, Gas and Water....this was in the Commercial Appeal (major Memphis newspaper).

I'd like to see Shaq here. I think Kobe is damaged goods though he's an awesome athlete.

I find it hard to believe that he raped her and think it was under consent. There is too much evidence that the courts are not allowing because of the rape shield law in Co. For instance, the rape kit shows someone elses DNA...not Kobe's. But, that was inadmissable incourt on the rape shield law.

He admitted to having sex with her. She says she was raped, rape kit says she was raped...Kobe has admitted to having sex with her. Almost a confession for the DA...the DNA evidence not being used is mind boggling.

Either way he was wrong...but criminally? I don't think so...not with the DNA adn other evidence being supressed because of the CO rape shield. JMO

I wish Shaq would get away from Kobe, Shaq is the best center ever in the NBA. Kobe is good, but will never be as great a player as Jordan. I think Shaq has another ring or two to win.

Shaq and Kobe co-existed because of Jerry West. Tension has been high since he has been gone. One or both will have to go.

Shaq is the most dominant player in the NBA...but he couldn't have doen it (NBA champs) without Kobe. OR, vice versa.

Shaq needs a few (unselfish) ball handlers and shooters to be a factor. We saw what Detroit did...let Shaq have his way down low and shut down the perimeter. Laker's were embarrassed even though Shaq had 30 points or more. Detroit did just the opposite of what other teams tried to do (shut Shaq down...the guys is too big, too powerful to shut down). That was a smart move by their coach.

I believe if Shaq would have had a player similar to a Jason Kidd this year he would be wearing another ring. Yes that was a good strategy on Larry Browns behalf, cause Shaq is going to get his points one way or another.

I think Shaq is gone from LA. It sounds like he may still go to the Mav's but Cuban has said he definitely will not give up Nowitski. If Shaq does leave LA I think Kobe will stay so he can be the only "superstar". As far as the criminal charges against him, I think he'll be aquitted on that, unfortunately. Remember folks if you have a "superstar" in you neighborhood he can kill you or rape you with little fear of conviction.

OK, I'm going to dust off my crystal ball and say that Kobe is staying in LA, and Shaq is going to...the Miami Heat. I know that's going out on a limb, but heck, I like to live dangerously.
